ILR Eligibility: Tier 2(G) to Tier 2(Dep) to Tier2(G)/Ent

Post by sidhu83 » Mon Jan 05, 2015 9:31 pm

Hi,

Looking for some advice from the experts!

My situation is as below:
Jul-2012:Jul:2014 - Tier 2 (General) sponsored
Jul-2014:Current - Tier 2 (Dependant)
Currently: I'm considering switching to a Tier 2 (General) visa.

If so will I be eligible for ILR in Jul-2017? i.e. will my tier 2 dependant period in between count towards the five year requirement OR am i resetting the clock everytime I switch from general to dependant or vice versa?

Thanks in advance!!

Sid

Dependent period is not considered for ILR.The clock will be reset and will start again with your tier 2 (general) which you will get for second time.
