Dependent Visa ICT Tier-2

Post by vesuinfo » Sat Jan 03, 2015 3:22 am

Hi,

I have applied for Tier-2 ICT Visa last week including Dependent Visa for my spouse, Submitted my Tier 2 ICT Visa supporting document last week at VFS centre,

I have a query regarding my spouse Visa, In our supporting document (Marriage certificate) it states Occuptation for my wife is "Service with Bank" on Sep 2013 but later on in Jan 2014 she has resigned her job.
In our Visa supporting documents I haven't enclosed my wife reliving letter which she received last year on her resignation.

Is there is any possibilities for visa rejection for my spouse visa, stating "Dependent" employer documents not enclosed ? Since if Visa officer takes occupation for my wife as per marriage certificate for consideration, can Visa officer may raise this as an issue ?

If any of you undergone this scenario before, please let me know.
Also is there is any option where I can communicate this to VFS/ Visa officer now (Visa docs submitted last week) ?

Is there a requirement under 319C for a dependant to be in employment?

There is no such requirement that dependent should be employed ?

My discussion here is about, my spouse was working when we get married but after few months from my marriage she has resigned.
But in our marriage certificate, spouse occupation is "With Bank" which is not at the moment.

so just got a query, whether Visa officer may raise this as an issue by just seeing the spouse occupation in our Marriage certificate ?

If her employment is not a requirement of the visa, then why should it matter if she had resigned after her wedding? I'm assuming that her marriage certificate just states the facts at the time of her marriage. Her marriage certificate shouldn't impose any obligations on her to be in employment with the Bank for the rest of her life.

Hi All,

I'm in UK from last 2 months, when I applied for my visa, the maintenance requirement was taken care by my sponsor, so i didn't have to show any saving.

Now, my wife & daughter would be applying for the tier 2 (ICT) dependent visa from india to join me.
Do i need to show (£630 + £630) £1260 to support my wife & daughter or do i need to show £630 + £630 + £900 (to support myself) for the maintenance requirements.

Can anybody help me with this?

ask your sponsor to certify maintenance for your dependants as well.

see para 55 on p9:
