Italian work permit/residence for girlfriend of BC

I am sorry if this topic has been covered already but I couldn't find the answer.
I am British citizen and I plan to live in Italy in future. As my Russian girlfriend (my future wife) will be joining me and living with me what is the best route to take in order to have her residence and work permit in Italy sorted.
