ITIL/ITSM Foundation?

Dear Forum,

Has anybody from the group (specially people in UK) done a ITIL course? I have completed my foundation course couple of years back and planning for the practitioner course this month end.

ITIL is owned and governed by UK Government. Can I use this to claim points in the professional education category?

Any thoughts pointers will be helpful

Staying with this....I have a possibility of claiming 30 points for the bachelors degree....how many points will a professional qualification possibly add?

I also understand that this has to be confirmed by a UK professional body
