Passport size photograph for FLR(IED)

Post by MWazir » Mon Nov 15, 2004 11:04 pm

Does anyone know the specification for Passport size photographs? Does it have to be against a white background? My recent most passport size photographs are against a very light green background. Someone recently mentioned to me that at the visa consulate, they expect white backgrounds. I wonder if its the same case with the Home office for FLR(IED).

Would appreciate your feedback on this trivial matter.
Many thanks!

So 3 months from now ... long time ... I wish they will speed up the process and will return our passports by end of Jan.

3 months is long time and I dont understand y its talking so long just for stamping.

All they need to do is enter our reference number in there systems and see if everything is okay and then stamp the passports . :?

Yes the process looks straight forward. No idea why it was taking so long. It never used to take so long a couple of years back.

2 years back I switched employers and my passport was sent to the HO. New work permit issued in 2 days, passport returned with stamp in 2 weeks time.

Now that its a two stage process, I wonder what new procedures have been introduced thats slowing down the stamping process. Or is it simply the influx of more people applying for further leave to remain in the country. Hard to say
