BRP ERROR-Name error -how2replace more than a year-URGENT!!

Dear Friends,
I have noticed just yesterday (which is almost a year after) that my first name is missing on my BRP card (however my full name is correctly mentioned on BRP and approval letter) , hence emailed the same to BRPError@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk with the existing scanned copies i.e. BRPCard, BRP letter, Approval letter and my Fullname, DOB, Caseid, BRPId. Also my address to return the replacement card.

Can someone advice, just is the email sufficient and do Homeoffice send me the replacement BRP card with correct name ? if so how many days it will take.
If not, Could someone help me with more details what to do next. I don't have enough time, as I need to fly back to India by this month end (Jan2015).

Because of this I could not appear for LIFE IN UK TEST today morning, at the test centre in Edinburgh as they highlighted the same issue with my first name - a very bitter experience today lost £50 exam fee it seems not be refunded though it is entirely not my mistake.

I have gone through other threads http://www.immigrationboards.com/genera ... 58333.htmlwhich are advicing about less than 10 days scenarios , but not similar to my scenarios i.e. more than 10 days and I noticed my fist name missing almost after an year- should I follow the same steps mentioned in the link I read in this forum? or should I wait for brperror email.
Could some one help me plz as my count down for my travel will start soon.

just want to update you i have received a similar email which you can see in the link i have posted above. I have sent my brp card and passport . I hope it will be done in 10 working days. i will update you once i receive my docs.
