Student applying for HSMP. But my Masters Degree is from USA

Dear members,

I am a student in England. I have a Masters Degree from American Universty. I will be applying for HSMP in a weeks time. Hopefully!!

After I get the aproval (again hopefully) for HSMP I will have to send an application for FLR. And I have read that from a students visa u can switch to HSMP if u succesfully obtained a degree in England.

Does this mean that After I get the HSMP approval I will have to go to my home country (Ukraine) to get a visa there??? Has anyone had anything similar?
