Appendix 2, spouse, technical error

Post by philemon_bodiba » Fri Jan 16, 2015 12:21 pm

Hi guys.

I'm applying under Category B and submitted all the required financial documents for the category. However, I've realised I made a mistake in the Appendix 2 form.

But in question: 3.12 Has your sponsor been in employment with the same employer and earning the amount, as detailed in 3.11 above, continuously for 6 months prior to the date of the application? (Category A). We answered 'no' when we should have skipped it.
But the next question: 3.13 Has your sponsor had other salaried employment, in the UK, in the 12 months prior to the date of application?(Category B). We answered correctly 'no'.

Now, could answering 'no' to question 3.12 cause a problem even though we've specified our a letter that we're applying under Category B?

Thanks..
Pa

Hopefully it won't be a big deal - if you want to you could contact the office that is processing your application and explain. Not much more you can do once it's been submitted.

I've heard stories that COs refuse applications for even the smallest mistake or inconsistency one can think of.
So, to your knowledge, is there a chance that mistake would be overlooked or it's likely to be a refusal?

Thanks
