Tier 2 Redundancy, No Curtailment Letter Yet, Can I Travel?

Post by celine7 » Tue Dec 16, 2014 9:56 pm

Hi There,

I'm under Tier 2 visa which is valid till Nov 2015. I have been made redundant at the end of May 2014. I haven't got curtailment letter yet. I'm calling UKBA regularly to check if any letter has been issued. Last week, I called them again and they said no letters issued yet.

Q1. Under normal circumstances (if I haven't been made redundant), I was going to be eligible to apply for ILR on Nov 2015. As I have less than 1 year to get ILR, is it possible that UKBA decided not to curtail my visa?

Q2. If they decided not to curtail visa, are they going to send a letter about it? or How can I find out it?

Q3. I have 2 dependents under my visa , my wife and my son. (My son was born in UK). Is it possible for my dependents to travel for Christmas? Are they going to have any issue when they come back to UK?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Many Thanks

Not sure what is your current status now & if your leave eventually got curtailed?

However, you may want to take a look at - https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... .0_EXT.pdf
