Polio certificate when travelling from Pakistan to UK?

Hi

When a person is travelling from Pakistan to the UK (Spouse visa) for the 1st time, do they need a Polio certificate during the journey in case someone asks for it?

If so, what types of places in Pakistan can this certificate be obtained?

Although they say you need it... They don't check lol.

I went from uk to Pak for 3 months and the rules where anyone who's stayed longer than 4 weeks needs a polio certificate. I got it done and no one checked at Lahore airport or Birmingham.


It's best to get it done and be on the safe side it's free Anyway.

I got it done from the local hospital. Since I was in Mirpur it was the building next to DHQ hospital
