I think this approval round will be for people from start of august 2014.. and hopefully includes people from earlier who were not lucky
Thank you banana07 and all other members. We all continue to follow this forum and update each other on progress. There is not much we can do but wait. I'm really thankful that we can update each other and get help if needed. I expect approvals after the next ceremony. I'm guessing the department will be too busy preparing fir the ceremony anyway.banana07 wrote:Emmanuel saad johnnyboy darr81 and of course pyramid stone we will see yer approvals next week (or 2).. Fingers crossed and dont despair yet

SouthernWinds wrote:Hi,
I am applying for my Irish citizenship and just double checking everything.
I have a question in regards of residence:
I have been in the country consecutively for the past five years, however, I have traveled a lot either for overseas business trips or on short weekend getaways with my wife.
I am afraid that with the accumulation of these small trips, I might have slightly exceeded the 6 weeks (42 days) they specify from 2014 onwards (for a few days).
I have all of my P60s from every year which prove that I have been working and residing here, being absent from the country for no more than 2 weeks at a time.
Any thoughts on what's best to do here?
Thanks.
you already have to do so and playslip and bank statements.. a letter from your employer mentioning your frequency of travel for work related instead of you mentioning to them about your travels will work wonders!SouthernWinds wrote:Thanks a mil banana07!
I was advised to attach my P21s just so they know that I have been in full time employment/paying taxes for that period.
I can breathe and send it off now.
