Switching From T2G

Switching From T2G

My wife who was my PBS dependant on T2G has got her own T2G few months ago. Unlike the biometric card in UK she has an entry clearence vignette on her passport as she had to apply from outside UK. Due to my current circumstance am thinking of switching to be her dependent.
* Can I apply from UK to be her PBS dependant ?
* My passport expires in 7 months. Is there any rule of passport being valid for so many months before applying for a visa ?
* Checking the home office website, seems I can apply online even though its beta version, is that recommended ? looks like its much less to fill as opposed to 35 page pdf document you usually send to home office ?
* I am less than an year away from 10 yr lawful residency. Can switching to PBS dependant from T2G cause any harm ? I guess its lawful 10 yr residency !

Yes, you can.

There is no such rule.

Its beta because its a new release. But, its still an official site and you can submit your application using that.
