TIER 2 VISA:Changing the Employer

Hi All,

I am having valid TIER 2 GEN VISA and I would like to apply/search jobs in UK. However at present I am not in UK.

Is it possible to apply jobs or search jobs in UK?
Is it possible to transfer TIER 2 Gen Visa ?

Why not. There are many job sites you can use. However, personally I feel it will be difficult to look for it from outside UK. Employers may not be that keen to talk once they know you are not in UK yet.

Is it possible to transfer TIER 2 Gen Visa ?
Yes, provided you are able to find another sponsor from UK who is ready to provide you with a CoS after satisfying all the visa conditions.

Btw, you said that you have a Tier 2 visa so why are you still looking for a job? Tier 2 visa itself means that you should be employed on a full-time role with the sponsor. Just be aware that if you have this Tier 2 visa from an umbrella company and they expect you to find a contract yourself, this setup is illegal as per Tier 2 rules.
