TIER 2 - Job Title Query

Dear All,

I work in the UK as Qualified Accountant for a company which is SOC 2421. Now i have decided to move to new employer with lot more clients and they have agreed me to take as ''Finance Manager'' and they have been running the ad for labour market test since last week. Even though at the time of interview it didn't cross my mind position ''Finance Manager'' wont be on SOC list, but i decided to look it up and i couldn't find the position ''Finance Manager'' anywhere on SOC list. I am starting to be worried now due to this. How do i know if its NVQ 6 and if so what category would ''Finance Manager'' under be?

Kindly advise/help.

That title is too vague.
What exactly will the role be?
It is for the Sponsor to decide what SOC is to be used, let them sort it out.
The other problem is the fact that they are doing the RLMT after they have offered you the role. That is all pointing to a loss of licence in the future.

Thanks very much for the response Frontier Mole.

Basically I will be preparing financial and management accounts for the clients. They have said to me they have to play by the rules , and before they issue me with a contract, they have to do a labour market test, and once the 28 days is over, they will write to me saying that I have been selected. I did ask them why not then use'' Management Accountant'', they said as I have an MBA , finance manager role suits me more. I googled ''Finance Manager'' and it seems to me that the role is NVQ6. But it doesn't appear on SOC list at all. Should I be more worried or should I tell them to change it to ''Management Accountants'??
