T2 ICT to T2 General - Rule

Hello Experts,

I need some information on the T2 ICT to T2 General switch rule.

I was having following Visa

Feb 10 to Feb 11 T2 ICT Entry Clearance
Feb11 to Feb 13 T2 Ext staff
Feb 13 to Feb 15 T2 ICT Long Term Staff - Applied Entry clearance from Outside UK

Can I apply for T2 ICT to T2 General Switch in Feb 15.

Please advise

Yes, you could apply for in-country switching to T2G. But you're also eligible to apply for ILR in Feb. 2015.

I doubt that's possible since he had applied from outside UK for his last visa. Quoting the below line from T2 guidance:

Please note that Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) Long Term Staff granted entry clearance under the rules in place after 6 April 2011 cannot switch into Tier 2 (General).
