Tier 2 (General) visa from India - Maintenance Fund

Post by priya79 » Fri Jan 23, 2015 10:10 pm

Hello,

I am applying for my TIER 2(General) Visa from India. I was wondering if someone can guide me through the maintenance funds .

Can I show my parents' BANK STATEMENT (maintaining it for 90 days) ? This will include my birth certificate and a letter from my parents giving me the permission to use the money. As I do not have the sufficient funds to meet the criteria.

Please let me know the answer as I am going to submit my application.

thank you.

your parents' funds are not acceptable, ask your sponsor to certify maintenance for you (ask if they haven't already when assigning your CoS)

Thank you for your reply. Different question, I was refused my Tier 2 application from UK. This time I am applying from India. The company will issue a restrictive COS. Do they need to go through a Resident Labour Market Test again?

thank you.

My application was refused because I had overstayed for more than 28 days. I was told to leave the country voluntarily, which i did. But the refusal letter says that I can apply for a fresh application. Which i am. hence my question - if they(company) have to redo RLMT.
