Help / advice please

Post by Darldee » Sat Jan 24, 2015 4:27 pm

I and my British baby are living in Germany for almost 2 years and they refuse to give me a visa. We are both treated as refugees because my baby father who is British refuse to relocate to Germany to take up employment. I have requested for any form of help so I can take up employment to be able to be independent and they just won't allow. What can I do? My solicitor seem not to help much. Thank you

Who refused to Give you a Visa, is it Britain or German?

Both of them should in theory give you visa.

Are you working in Germany?

Do you have medical insurance that covers you and your child?

Thanks for the reply
The German immigration has refused my visa application on the basis that my baby father isn't living and working in here (Germany).
No am not working because I dnt have the resident permit. And no personal insurance, both my son and I are cared for under refugee.

NB: I met my baby father here in Germany, so my baby was born here. But after delivery, I was told he can't have a German nationality so we applied for British nationality and his passport has been issued already. As a matter of fact, I thought since he's EU he has right of resident here and same applies to me (I didn't have any form of residence before having my baby though). But as I said the German immigration office says if my baby father don't take up employment here in Germany, they won't give me and my son resident permit. And I can't travel outside Germany with my son neither though he has free movement as EU
