Hello,
Please help me!!!
I have applied for extension of Tier 4 Student (General) visa within the UK, because I've changed colleges. My first visa application was refused, as the bank statement was not 28 days old, however it was and the Home Office has made a mistake making this decision.
To speed up the process, I went to the UK agency to help me to put in a new application, as this will be quicker way to get my visa than appealing. So i put through my new Tier 4 (General) visa application on the 17th December (before the deadline of 28 days expires) and the documents were delivered to Home Office by special delivery on the 19th December. It takes 28 days to receive the biometrics from the date i submitted my application, however, I didn't receive it. Instead a week ago I have received a letter saying that "...my application raises issues relating to the European Convention on Human Rights, which are complex in nature." and that my application will take a little longer than the standard rate.
I dont understand how my application was relating to the European Convention on Human Rights? This letter really worries me.
When will I receive my biometrics? or shell I contact Home Office to inform them that I've not received my biometrics in the past 28 days. How much longer it can take to make a decision on my application?
