Hi ,
I am seeking urgent help .
I am on Tier2 General and will be completing 5 years on this visa in june2015.Just got to know that my role has gone.so i am planning to look job outside my company and get my Tier2 general visa sponsered.I wanted to know will this impact my ILR in june.what all precaution i need to take to get my ILR.
My husband has indefinate leave to remain and my son is british citizen.
Since only 4 months is left and i landed into this worse situation.Need you help to find out best possible solution.

Your eligibility for ILR will not be affected by changing T2 sponsors but try to make sure that the new sponsor will be prepared to certify that you are required for continued employment when the time comes for the ILR application. Some are reluctant to do this because once you obtain ILR you are outside immigration control and can change jobs freely.
