Hi,

My wife has already reached in UK and started working at customer site in London. She has got TIER 2 ICT Long Term Staff visa (CoS and Work Permit) from her employer in India, which is valid till Feb 2017.

Both of us are from IT sector. I am planning to apply for a dependent visa i.e. TIER 2 ICT Long Term Staff Partner.

Q1. Will I be eligible to work in London on that Visa?

Q2. If answer to Q1 is YES, then do I need to resign at my current job in India, before applying for jobs in UK? Or can I apply-clear interview-get a job offer in UK and then resign at my current job in India?

Q3. Which are the good job portals for profiles like mine?

It's not an immigration issue. Its your personal choice how you want to do it. It may take some time for you to find a job in UK. Will you be able to take a long break from your organisation? Your current company may ask you to serve your notice period in India. There are many permutations and combinations. Do consider all aspects.

There are quite a few sites. Monster, Jobserve, cwjobs, reed .... they are many. Registering in 1-2 should suffice.
