Printed bank statements

Hello

I am going to sponser my brother in law who is applying for a uk family visitor. Can the bank statement I provide be printed off and stamped and signed at the Halifax branch? Will there be any issues with this, as I don't have the time to request original statements, which will take 2 weeks to arrive.
