Need suggestions for tier2 ICT VISA

Hi everyone,
I'm sure this must have been discussed in various other posts but I could not find exact answers to my questions.
I am working for an Indian consultancy and they are ready to process my Tier2 intra company transfer visa including my husband's dependent visa. I hv below queries -
1. Can he easily work with dependent visa?
2. Though my company will give me long term visa but my assignment is not more than 1 to 1.5yrs which means we may to come back to India. Is there a chance that I can change my employer while I'm in UK?
3. Is it better to enter UK with tier2 General visa instead of tier2-ICT?

Yes, he can work in UK.

2. Though my company will give me long term visa but my assignment is not more than 1 to 1.5yrs which means we may to come back to India. Is there a chance that I can change my employer while I'm in UK?
You cannot change your employer with the ICT Long term visa. If you are able to find an employer who's ready to sponsor your Tier 2 General, you will have to go back to India and apply from there. Plus, you will also be subject to a cool-off period of 12 months before you can apply for Tier 2 visa.

3. Is it better to enter UK with tier2 General visa instead of tier2-ICT?
It depends what you want to achieve at the end of it. If ILR is your target, Tier 2 is the option.
