Tier 4 Dependant

Post by jafferdeen » Sun Feb 08, 2015 8:03 am

My friend is on Tier 4 Student visa. His girl friend is coming from sri lanka next month as Tier 4 Student visa for a mater degree course in University. She will get marry with my friend on her arrival in UK
My friend visa will expire next week.He tried for admission but could not get anywhere.
He wantt o apply for FLR 0 application now.Once his GF is in UK they ill register their marriage and then he will apply for PBS application .
Questions:
1- How much maintenance he will need to show and for how many months?
2- I do understand there was change in law that under PBS ,applicant can make in country application as PBS dependent subject to some condition .If my friend is on FLR 0 will he be able to make his PBS application whenhis FLR O still in process??

please i need expert advice

another FLR o.

I think the name of this thread should be changed from Tier 4 to FLR applications :P :P

anyway coming back to the question.

your friend not leaving the UK because his girlfriend is coming here next month and they will register to get married and so on, is NOT a strong enough reason for your friend to get a Further Leave to Remain in ANY category.
once his visa has expired, getting registered for the marriage will also become very hard, eventually making him an illegal.

best is for him to rush back, get married, apply as a dependant and the application will get processed in a month back in Srilanka. if it takes longer his wife can come here and he can continue to wait for the decision in Srilanka. once the decision is in his favour he can fly back.

I think it's time the Government stopped this endless applying for visas the applicant doesn't even qualify for to maintain Sect. 3.

Maybe let them apply, take the money but reset the clock.

go to the following link and help yourself to read the rules. https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -form-flro

i think its a trend nowadays. everyone wants to apply for a FLR 0.. thinking that they will get time. but they do not think about the spot which the flr will leave on their immigration history. all are guided by wrong people. no one in this tier 4 forum has come up with a valid and genuine reason so far to apply for a flr. all lame, and just people who want some time, and will eventually have to go or will be caught, banned and deported.
