Stupid Question?????

Post by claudiafan » Wed Sep 19, 2007 4:01 pm

I am a work permit holder and my husband has got his dependant visa. I just had my baby boy borned 4 months ago in London. My employer will renew my work permit at the end of the year. So i wonder what to do next after i get my new work permit?

Shall i apply dependant visa for my baby boy as well as renew my husband's dependant visa as soon as i get my new visa? Or shall i apply my visa with theirs together or separately? Do they use the same form? Also, do you know how much i need to pay for everything?

I can not find the info on the offical web, am i stupid enough?

All the dependands including your husband and your child can be added to the next FLR(IED) that you submit and can get their visas extended free of charge. For more information see the FLR(IED) guidance notes in this link http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/workin ... forms.html

What do you think?

Shall i apply dependant visa for my baby boy as well as renew my husband's dependant visa as soon as i get my new visa?
All three applications can be made on one (i.e you as the main applicant and baby and Husband as dependants)

Fees:

Thx very much for the reply. The info is really helpful. I genuinely believe people here are really sweet. So glad to know that their visas will be free of charge if we apply together!!

My husband will renew the visa so i understand the FLR(IED) form is fine. But my baby will apply for the first time? How come it is still the same form?

Please take time to read the guidance notes and the form before posting further.

It doesn't matter whether it is the first time or the umpteeth time, all of you can apply on the same form.
Bye and enjoy your application
