Dear all
I am looking for some guidance regarding my extension to DLR
Sequece of events
October 2011: Tier-2 Visa is rejected failing to meet necessary salary for the job code. I appealed the rejection.
December 2011:At the tribunal i represent myself along with my boss who gave a statement how his business and projects that i am responsible for would be adversely affected if i was removed from the UK. Appeal is allowed on private life and human rights grounds as removal would adversely affect my career / professional path and also economically affect my UK based employers and associated clients.
March 2012: UKBA grants 3 years DLR
Currently:
I continue working for the same employers under the same job title.
I am responsible for more projects and clients than i was in 2011
My salary has been increased and now meets the Code of Practice (since over a year)
I also have bought a house in UK and have been living in it for over a year
My wife (dependent visa free to seek employment) is also now working for the same employers since last 2 years
P.S.- I have never claimed any benefits at any time in the UK
My question:
Does the increase of salary classify as a change in circumstance that could affect the outcome of the DLR extension application ?
Does my wife working for the same employers classify as a change in circumstance ?
In August this year i will have completed 10 years in the UK. Am i allowed to apply for ILR based on 10 year long residence? Does time spent on DLR count towards 10 year LR?
Apologies for a lengthy post and if there are too many questions.
Any help from novices, moderators and gurus would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance
