Renewable French Student Visa

I came to France 3 years ago. For the first 2 years I was baby sitter and than I join the third year at Montpellier university. First 2 years of the university was recognized from my country - Macedonia. However, I did not pass the exams. I get the reinscription for the same year of my studies a week ago. Now I’m applying for a renewable student visa.

Is there any chance that I will not get the visa? I'm 28.5 years.

I don;t see why you won't get visa as long as you are enrolled for courses and you did not do anything illegal while in France. your age also doesnt matter.Are you reapplying from Macedonia?

I'm in France right now. I'm worried because at the: http://service-public.fr for the renewal it says:

The temporary residence permit is renewable each year and depends on:
* assiduity in the studies and the examinations,
* the coherence of the university course or the changes of orientation,
* and of the progression in the followed studies.
The real and serious character of the studies is checked by means of assiduity with directed work, of the results of the examinations presented, the notes and the diplomas obtained. Documents in proof are required at the time of each renewal.

And I didn't pass the exams...
