Consequences of Denial of change of employment?

Hi fellows,

I will soon submit an application for a new Tier 2 visa to change my employment from my present sponsor to a new one. I intend not to give the notice to my manager until I receive the outcome of this application as my visa is still valid for another 2 years.
My main concern is that in case my new application got denied, what happens to my present visa? Will it remain valid for my present job? Will my manager be notified of the newly denied application by any chance?

In that case, your present visa will still remain valid until the expiry date and UKBA won't notify your present employer.
