Tier 2 ICT Visa Extension

Hello Members,

I need your suggestion on whether my current Tier 2 ICT visa can be extended any further or not. Few inputs from me:

1. Entered the UK in May 2010 as Tier 2 ICT Established Staff. Visa valid till April 2012
2. Visa Extended under Tier 2 ICT LTS for a year valid until April 2013
3. Visa Extended under Tier 2 ICT LTS for another year valid until April 2014
4. Visa Extended under Tier 2 ICT LTS for another year valid until April 2015

Can you suggest whether my current visa can be extended any further? Please note that my salary will not be £150+, it will still be in £50,000 bracket.

your T2 ICT leave can be extended indefinitely but you'll need a new CoS for each extension.

You can extend it further as long as your employer is ready to issue you a CoS.

but isnt't there a limit of 5 years on tier 2 ict LTS with maximum salary of 41000?

not if the initial T2 ICT visa was applied for before 6 April 2011

thanks again manci. just read those statements. can you suggest what does this means?

"and you have not been granted entry clearance in this or any other route since the grant of this leave"

Entry clearance is a visa application made from outside the UK. Your first visa in 2010 was entry clearance.

If all your extensions were applied for from within the UK then this doesn't apply to you.
