Resident labour market test for change of job application

Guys,

I Got into tier 2 from psw and no resident labour market test needed.

Now I am hinking for a new job but not too sure will resident labour market test will be needed. Any advice? It is in a different SOC Code.

Home office guide says employer may be asked to give a Resident labour market test? Does it means he must be or he might not be? I need to know this. For my current job no resident labour market test was needed.

Once you are in tier 2, RLMT is required if you are changing your job except
exception applied like your SOC is under shortage occupation list and your salary
is £153,500 or more. That's why guideline says "may be". Hope that helps.
