Can I start a business and register a Ltd. On Tier 2

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone can help me with this. I want to start a business and register a Ltd. company on my name. I am on employer sponsored tier 2 general visa. I browsed through the Tier 2 policy guidance and couldn't find anything of this mention.

Can someone help me If I can do so?

The simple answer is no.
You can not undertake self employment under tier 2.
