PBS Dependant leave to remain Validity once Spouse got ILR

Post by rksinghpatel » Wed Feb 25, 2015 1:40 pm

Hi All,
Thanks a lot for helps and I got ILR ( T2 ICT) but I need advice for my wife visa-
My wife came to UK on 05/04/2010 along with me, she is still with me in UK and her PBS Dependant leave to remain visa is valid till October 2015 .
She is eligible for ILR but she needs some time to learn English and pass the life in the UK exam so she has not applied ILR along with me.

Now we are planning to go to India but I am worried if her PBS dependant visa will be valid till Oct 2015 now ?

If existing PBS dependant VISA is valid then which category need to be applied for her visa extension after Oct 2015 ?

Thanks in advance for any help provided in this regard.

Hello Members,
I just checked with Home office -03001232253 and they have updated that PBS dependant visa will be valid for my wife till existing expire (Oct 15) then she has to apply FLR(M) for further extension and PBS dependant visa stay counter will be reset for her and she has to complete again 5 year in FLR(M) category to apply IRL but I came to know that PBS depended extension can be applied for her post Oct 15. Is this correct ?
Can moderators and seniors please provide help me on this ?

yes you should not apply for FLRm, rather u should extend her PBS dependent visa. It will be extended for 3 years, considering you will have ILR by that time.
