Recognized certified translator in Pune/Mumbai

Dear All,

I need to get my birth certificate translated into English. I am currently in Pune, India and I could not find any certified translator recognized by the British Deputy High commission here. I even tried to contact British Deputy High commission but they have no information on this.

So, I have got my certificate translated by a translation agency on their letter head along with their stamp , signature & contact details. But I am not sure if this will help.

Please let me know what can be done in this case.
