Refused as being totally without merit

Post by Ganga123 » Fri Mar 06, 2015 3:40 pm

Hello there,

I have received this letter today, but could not understand it properly. Is there anyone who can tell me what does this mean and what is next where I am an international student and just finished my master degree.

The details :-

On consideration of the appellants notice and accompanying documents, but without an oral hearing, in respect of an application for permission to appeal:

Decision: Refused, as being totally without merit and the applicant may not request the decision
to be reconsidered at an oral hearing.

Permission Refused: Totally without merit

This decision is final.
Where the Court of Appeal refuses permission to appeal without a hearing, it may, if it considers that application is totally without merit, make an order that the person seeking permission may not request the decision to be reconsidered at a hearing (see CPR 52.3(4A)(a)). Such an order has been made in this case. The appellate is therefore unable to request that an oral hearing be arranged.

The application for permission to appeal to this Court has been refused. No appeal may be made against this decision to the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom: see S54(4) oi the Access to Justice Act 1999.

The Parties have exhausted the domestic appellate process.

With hope!

Thank you so much.

Regards,

is there a specific part that you don't understand because it is worded quite clearly so I am not entirely sure what about it you don't understand.

Basically the grounds you put forward were so weak as to be totally without merit, therefore there was no need for an oral hearing and you cannot appeal any further.

If you are Masters student surely you understand it, they are basically saying you are a bit thick, are you thick or or are you not - u need to address this point to the satisfaction of the UKVI.

Do that and you will be ok..
