Tourist Visa - Family and Friends Germany

Hi,

I work as an IT contractor and my wife works as a permanent employee.

I want to apply for German Schengen Tourist Visa
For easier documentation - I would want my wife to provide her bank statements and payslips , which is easier for her and me.
I just want to know if this acceptable .

If you are financially supported by your spouse (for example if you do not work yourself), please also provide your marriage certificate and your spouse's passport and bank statements.

Can someone please advice me on this ?
