Shall I transfer visa on new passport?

Hi All,

I have Tier 2 visa which is valid till 2019. My passport is expiring in May 2016. I can give an application to issue new passport after May 2015 anytime.

My question here is after getting new passport should I transfer my BRP to new passport? Or I can continue with both passport and keeping BRP with old one?

If I keep BRP with old passport will there be any problem in travel?

there is no need to transfer to new passport.
If you have a BRP, all you need is the card and new passport to travel. If you have old style visa sticker then keep the 2 passports together for travelling.

I just asked because somewhere on UKVI website I saw that it should be done. I was not sure if it was mandatory or not.
