Switching from Tier 2 ICT LT to Tier 2 General

Hi,

I am currently working in UK with Company X on a Tier 2 ICT Long Term Visa, which was issued on 16/07/2014 and valid until Aug 2016.
And now I have job offer from UK Company X1.

I need few clarification.

1. Is it possible to change my job and take-up company X1 offer? I think I cannot change with ICT VISA, Please correct me.

2. If I want to switch from Tier 2 ICT LT to Tier 2 General, what is the process? Will possible to switch from UK or from home country?

If its possible from home country do I need to serve cooling off period? How many days..?

You cant switch to tier 2 general within UK. You need to go to your home country, finish cooling off period of 12 months and then you can apply for Tier 2 General.
