Schengen Visa validity period

Hi,

I heard that Embassy gives a Schengen visa for a longer period.

Is there any other country wherein the chances of getting schengen visa for a longer period (. 6 months) possible ?

Always a lottery but a first visa is nearly always a short one.

Such a visa will never be valid more than 90 days, even if it is valid for a longer period. For instance 6 or 12 months.

Visa with a longer validity re national visa, not Schengen visa.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the inputs. I got schengen visa few days back for 6 months. But i had to wait for 5-6 hours.

Congratulations.

You can use the visa for 6 months I presume.
But how many days did they write in it?
