Advice on Travel

Post by Neeleshuob » Wed Mar 25, 2015 10:54 am

Hello All,

I am a student from India and have graduated with a master's degree this march. Currently, I have my Tier 4 ( General) visa till June 27, 2015.

I need to attend my sister marriage on the May 20th, 2015 in India.

The problem here is the company am working now is willing to sponsor a tier 2 (work) visa. However, we Still don't have a sponsor license and have started the process. How long will it take to get a sponsor license for the company and then submit my application for the tier 2?

In this case, will I be able to travel and come back at the end of May?

Thanks,
Neelesh.V

Usually it takes around 2 to 3 months for getting sponsorship license, but i have seen in most of the cases, employer gets within 3 weeks if all documents are genuine and submitted. After getting the license, they can immediately issue the CoS for you as RLMT is not required for you. So, ask your employer to apply for license asap so that they get the license by mid of april and you can apply immediately after they issue CoS for you and get the Visa within May 20th. Hope that helps.
