Wife entitled to NHS???

Post by Nazz » Thu Sep 27, 2007 3:36 pm

Dear All

My wife recently got sick and was referred to hospital for further tests by her GP, my question is, would I have to pay for these test if my wife is on a marriage visa? As I am working full-time and have ILR.
(My wife has a medical card).

No, she is entitled to NHS treatment. You don't have to pay.
I am not, and cannot, offer legal advice to particular people. I can only discuss general areas of immigration law.

People should always consider obtaining professional advice about their own particular circumstances.
