Tier 2 gen extension delayed due to policy issue!!!!

Hi Gurus,

Please can someone shed some light on this urgently

I applied for tier 2 general extension on 14th March, I did my biometric last week and was awaiting a positive news but unfortunately I received a letter from HO today stating "There are some outstanding Policy issues that need to be resolved and might affect the outcome" of my application.

Please can someone tell me what does this mean?
Has it got to do with me or my company who sponsored me?
What is contact number with whom I can call or email to know more about this?
