Question about staying in the UK.

Hello, I'm Jordan.

I have a quick question. I have a girlfriend from Wisconsin and she wants to visit this summer since she has the money. How long can she stay just on holiday without getting any visas? I know you can get a general visit visa which lasts up to 10 years but she will be staying for a month or 2. How long can she stay just as a tourist on holiday?
