Thank you Tulip. I have been seeing your posts for some time now and I genuinely pray and hope that you get your approval VERY soon inshAllah. I don't think country of origin has any connection to the application. I am from Pak too but but Alhamdulillah got my approval in exactly a month time. I am very confident that you will get yours very soon too. Please don't lose hope! The letter says I need to contact my council for the ceremony within 21 days. By the way I just spoke to the council for my ceremony and they said that they have not had any letter from home office in regards to my ceremony yet. My approval is dated 31/03 and sent via 2nd class post and arrived in about 10 days. Council letter (according to the lady I spoke to) are all special delivery / signed for packages, so how come I received mine before the council? is it the case of them not having opened up and sorted out their post yet? shall I try again a bit later today? she asked me to call them again on Monday, I really can't wait that long!! Can anyone please shed some light on this for me? thanks

Indeed, with a small sample tellings us they have approximately 7,000 applications per month. I'd not worry if we are a bit delayed.rakeysh.patel wrote:No news is good news for today. There's always tomorrow, chin up folks
True - I don't think anyone argues the complexity and workload. I guess it's more of being transparent in terms of what's going on and level of service for the amount of fees charged. At least for those who have straight forward cases, should be sent their merry way in time. I have not a single spot on my head (gone through all the checks inc CTC, DBS etc in one of my volunteer work) and see no reason for anything to be delayed and I'm sure there are many whose been waiting for far longer than I have been!fwd079 wrote:Indeed, with a small sample tellings us they have approximately 7,000 applications per month.
