When do I send in my EEA3 Application

hello there,

just a quick one.

I was issued with a residence card in July 2010 after putting in my application 10 months earlier as an unmarried partner of an EEA national.

My residence card is due to expire in July 2015. My partner and I are now married with 3 children.

Please can anyone help me with the best time to send in my application for a permanent residence card.

do I wait until after the expiry of my current residence card on July 29, or do I send it in earlier.

as far i know, you can send application after 4 years and 11 months from the date when you married or in your case will be when you had issued the RC. But you can wait for an other expert advice in this forum as i am not too sure.
