KET Still Valid??

My wife took the ESOL KET exam for her initial entry into the UK back in 2012, we will be applying for her FLR(m) extension later this year and I am aware that the English language approved test have changed but from my understanding if it was taken before April then it is still valid is this correct?

This will save her having to take the IELTS twice.

If the qualification was on the old list (now known as the transitional list), it will still be accepted but only until 5 November 2015.
