Isn't it funny to be so relieved about losing a big chunk of money? Congrats on being robbed!
Postman came and went and only left a pile of junk mail. Back to work...

Most of you talking about long waiting and only made your Naturalisation applications in March. I am waiting for my approval since 4th of December 2014 some other people is waiting since August 2014. So my advice would be enjoy the sun and stop thinking about the brown envelopes

it can take longer then 6 months to receive them

Good luck to all of you

I agree.. there is no point counting the days and trying to guess when you'll get your result. Maybe you get lucky and get it in 3-4 weeks, or maybe you don't get lucky and have to wait 6-12 months. Either way there is little benefit to worrying.

Hello Hester,
What did you submit as a proof for english language?? I sent Life in the UK test + Masters Degree from UK.
If you have sent the relevant docs and not sure what happened then most likely they have misplaced your docs or check you might have forgotten to send them with your application and they are still lying in your pile of paperwork at home.
I hope it gets sorted for u asap. Try sending them again if u have them...Also it won't get refused as if it were the case then they would have sent all the docs back and told u to reapply but as they have asked you to provide the relevant docs, just send them again and it should resolve the matter for you.
Good Luck!

I think they require 2 pieces of evidence, perhaps you may have to send another proof of English Language, unless you received ILR on or after 28 October 2013, I think..

Unfortunately, Rhodesia doesn't seem to be on the list of countries considered to be majority English speaking. Have you got anything else you could send? Did you use your Life in the UK test to gain ILR before 28 October 2013?

As has been suggested by the previous poster, first check whether you were granted ILR prior to Oct 28th 2013. If you were then you will need to meet the KoL requirement detailed below unless you are exempt due to any of the reasons that have been stated. Check to see if you already have any qualification (even a degree that appears on the PBS) that's listed as acceptable under the site below.

hester - if your ILR was on or after 28 October 2013, then you have to "tick" the box on the application form. Do you recall doing that?
