Entry Clearance Canberra advise needed please help

Hi All,

Can some one please advise me on whether entry clearance for work permit could be applied in person in canberra to speed the process up (offcourse once I have filled the online application and hand the supporting documents) and could same day or 2-3 days processing of the application is or could be possible?
I would appreciate if any one who has done this or is aware of anyone who has done it could kindly advise me.

Hi,

I don't know if my reply will be of any help to you, as I didn't apply for work permit entry clearance in Canberra.

However, I did apply for entry clearance so that I could move to England with then my boyfriend, whom I met in Australia (he is now my husband).

Everything went super fast, I had a short interview in Canberra, and I got my entry clearance within an hour the same day.

I don't know if the process is the same with work permit clearance, but I don't see why it would not be. I found the whole process to be very painless, but this was 7 years ago, I am not sure how much things have changed now.
