I have been told that the old passports are returned with the new passport after the passport appointment. However most of you mentioned receiving returned documents before the interview. Could someone please clarify this? Thank you

Hi all,

a little clarification.

If I hold 3 passports (Native country) before naturalization 2 of them expired and one is still valid.

Shall I need to send them all to UK passport office, or just need to send valid passport only.

I am about to apply my1st British passport application.

All un-cancelled passports, this includes your expired passports as well.

Not if it's expired and been cancelled (cut through the corner).

I was advised to send off the passport that I used to enter the UK the first time. Even though it was cancelled, I still sent if off just in case.

You mentioned UKBA in your signature lol. UKBA doesn't exist anymore. They have been shut down ages ago (2013) due to their failure to meet their objectives. These days they are UKVI and Home Office.

It depends. I got my documents back before my interview but some people only after that.
if the interview was successful it takes 4-10 working days to get your new passport separately

Hi yes he send letter form confirmation of counter signatory details like company name ,business address , phone number and so profession and all details need on company letter head . He send on 16/04/15 . Let's see what happen now. He received on a letter 14/04/15.
