Change the position within Tier 2

HI! My current position has been revoked from the company and I am on Tier 2 visa. I was kind of proposed to apply for another job with lower salary than I currently have. Shall the company proceed with all steps as it was for the first initial Tier 2 visa? Would appreciate for your advice.

if your job SOC code changes you'll need a new CoS and an RLMT will also have to be carried out. The new job has to be NQF level 6 with appropriate salary.
