Treaty rights as jobseeker

Post by manolesta » Sun Apr 26, 2015 1:07 am

Hello to everyone, since I reside in the UK almost 5 years I have changed 5 jobs.
I have always left my jobs voluntarily( my own decision), and every time I left a job I have immediately registered myself as jobseeker and in maximum 2 months I have always found a new job and never asked for any public fund, only contribution based once.

My question are this:
1) Is a person exercising treaty rights (qualified person)when registered as jobseeker and looking for work, even if he left his job voluntarily?

I know already that to retain the condition of worker the answer is NO because you need one year and involuntarily lose the job.

In one week I have completed 5 years of treaty rights in UK and I was about to send my wife (non Eea) and my application for EEA PR, but unfortunately yesterday I have been dismissed because abandoned place of work.
I have just registered myself as a jobseeker( do not matter about the sanctions).

2) Am I still eligible for EEA PR or I lost everything because I fell one week short with my treaty rights?

3) My application was ready to be sent..do you guys think is the case to go to a solicitor?
