Tier 2 sponsor out of register for change in address

I have my sponsor who states that he is out of the registered list of licensed sponsor as he is shifting office and waiting to be included in the register.
Is this a circumstance that can happen and he is out of the list from march.

my cos expires in a week though I have the visa for another month is it ok to continue working as the employer says its fine to continue

I doubt. If your employer has notified the home office of the change in address, there is no reason why they should remove them from the list (unless the reason is something else!).
